In 2018, Putman Media launched Influential Women in Manufacturing (IWiM), a recognition program honoring women who are effecting change in manufacturing and industrial production.
"I am proud that Putman could play a role in shining a light on the extraordinary work being done by so many women in the manufacturing field," said Putman Media CEO John Cappelletti. "Our hope is that their achievements will inspire other young women to join this dynamic industry and be a part of creating manufacturing's exciting future. Congratulations to all IWiM 2018 honorees!"
We’re thrilled to note that, at next month’s Smart Industry conference, we'll celebrate the inaugural class of Influential Women in Manufacturing at a dedicated breakfast and have the opportunity to hear from several IWiM honorees who are also Smart Industry speakers:
- Jolene Baker, senior manufacturing intelligence specialist at Logical Systems Inc., presents “Unified Data Infrastructure Needed for Insightful Analytics”
- Peggy Gulick, director of digital transformation for global manufacturing at AGCO, presents “AGCO Leverages Digital Tools to Advance Lean Initiatives”
- Rendela Wenzel, global maintenance and reliability leader for Eli Lilly, presents “Next-Generation Prescriptive Maintenance: A Case Study”
- Marie Getsug, program manager for strategic consulting–asset management at Jacobs Engineering Group, joins the panel "Organizational Transformation in an Age of Information Abundance”
I can't wait to attend these sessions, network with all of the IWiM honorees in attendance and help celebrate honorees' accomplishments with the full Smart Industry conference audience. I hope you can join me.
